Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- current Food Handlers Certificate
- minimum one-year related experience
- ability to read, write and comprehend business documents in English
- ability to communicate verbally with residents, families, visitors and co-workers
- ability to make self clearly understood
- knowledge of food serving, cleanliness and sanitation requirements
- physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 50 pounds frequently and/or 20 pounds continuously
- ability to stand and walk over 75% of the shift
- ability to turn, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push and pull

Job Duties
- Set tables
- bus tables
- wash off tables after meals
- prepare beverages and food as required
- serve food in dining rooms or other areas
- serve beverages to residents
- blend food using an electric blender
- prepare steam table
- prepare hot cart and serve food
- clean and sanitize carts
- wash dishes
- scrape and rack dishes
- sort, stack, and store clean dishes
- mop, sweep, and clean work area
- take out trash
- wrap silverware
- receive and store groceries, frozen foods, produce, and other supplies
- date and rotate canned goods
- detect, correct, and/or report potential safety hazards
