- Computer proficiency including basic applications such as Microsoft Office

- Sound judgment and good decision-making abilities
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with residents and co-workers
Job Duties
- Assist in meal preparation and portion allocation according to the menu and weekly schedule
- Complete resident checklist and report results to cook or Culinary Director (CD)
- Assist in meal service in accordance with sanitation standards
- Immediately inform CD of any substandard food quality
- Monitor food and beverage to ensure proper temperature
- Buss tables and wash dishes using the full hands in, full hands out method
- Clean equipment as assigned
- Maintain dining room and kitchen area in clean condition, in accordance with community procedures
- Prepare, handle, store, and dispose of food in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Clean workspaces, cooking and serving equipment, trays, and dishes according to standards
- Load and unload the dishwasher, store clean equipment and dishes properly
