Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in food safety or related industry preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations such as HACCP, FDA, USDA
  • Ability to pass ServSafe Food Handler and Manager Certification within 2 months of hire
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in food safety or a related industry (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, FDA, USDA)
  • Must be able to pass a ServSafe Food Handler and Manager Certification course within 2 months of hire
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Observe food handling processes throughout the facility to ensure compliance with safety protocols at every stage of production and service
  • Conduct routine inspections and audits of food safety practices
  • Identify and report non-conformities, and assist in implementing corrective actions
  • Assist in training production and operational staff on food safety procedures, regulations, and best practices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, audits, training sessions, and corrective actions for compliance and reporting purposes
  • Support the identification of areas for improvement and help implement solutions to enhance food safety performance
  • Participate in investigations of food safety incidents and contribute to timely resolution and prevention strategies
  • Stay informed about current food safety regulations, industry trends, and emerging best practices, and apply this knowledge to daily operations
