Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in food safety or related industry preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations such as HACCP, FDA, USDA
- Ability to pass ServSafe Food Handler and Manager Certification within 2 months of hire
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in food safety or a related industry (preferred)
- Working knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, FDA, USDA)
- Must be able to pass a ServSafe Food Handler and Manager Certification course within 2 months of hire
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Observe food handling processes throughout the facility to ensure compliance with safety protocols at every stage of production and service
- Conduct routine inspections and audits of food safety practices
- Identify and report non-conformities, and assist in implementing corrective actions
- Assist in training production and operational staff on food safety procedures, regulations, and best practices
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, audits, training sessions, and corrective actions for compliance and reporting purposes
- Support the identification of areas for improvement and help implement solutions to enhance food safety performance
- Participate in investigations of food safety incidents and contribute to timely resolution and prevention strategies
- Stay informed about current food safety regulations, industry trends, and emerging best practices, and apply this knowledge to daily operations
