Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum of 6 months' experience as a line cook or prep cook in a full-service restaurant
- Basic understanding of sanitation practices and regulations for workplace safety
- Knowledge of food handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Efficient work skills to handle kitchen tasks quickly
- Team player who collaborates well with colleagues
- Willingness to follow instructions and respond positively to feedback for continuous improvement
- Strong personal hygiene commitment
- Able to stand and move around for extended periods
- Exposure to extreme heat, steam, and cold typical in kitchen environments
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as necessary
- Flexible to work late nights and unpredictable hours
- Manual dexterity to cut and chop foods and perform other related tasks efficiently
- Physically able to frequently bend, reach, and twist

Job Duties
- Set up and sanitize workstations for optimal efficiency
- Follow prep lists prepared by managers and supervisors to ensure timely and consistent food preparation
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment, including all equipment and utensils
- Prepare food according to our recipes and health department standards with care and precision
- Label, store, and organize food items for easy access
- Wash, chop, and sort fresh ingredients such as fruits, vegetables, and meats
- Prepare and portion fresh produce and meats with attention to detail
- Conduct culinary duties including slicing, chopping, frying, broiling, and grilling
- Communicate openly with management regarding any work-related concerns to promote a positive working atmosphere
- Ensure kitchen safety, hygiene codes, and cleanliness at all times
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support kitchen operations
