Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current CA Food Handlers Card required
- Meets all applicable licensing and background requirements to work in a licensed residential care facility for the elderly
- Exceptional verbal communication skills

Job Duties
- Follow standard procedures and best practices to ensure cleanliness of kitchen equipment and utensils and dining glasses, plates and utensils
- Follow standard procedures and best practices to maintain regulatory compliance with food service and safety
- Be knowledgeable of trash, compost, recycling programs
- Assemble, maintain and break down the dish machine
- Wash shared work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls and floors
- Assist with basic food prep, as requested
