Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 years experience

- Ability to exert physical effort to transport up to 55 pounds
- Ability to endure various physical movements throughout work areas

Job Duties
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards
- Use equipment only as intended and maintain correct equipment maintenance
- Maintain positive coworker relations and be familiar with all hotel services, features, and local attractions to respond to guest inquiries accurately
- Help resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
- Meet with Sous Chef or Chef to review assignments, anticipated business levels, and changes
- Complete opening duties such as cleaning hands frequently, setting up workstations with required mis en place, tools, and supplies
- Start prep work on items needed for service and inform supervisors of shortages
- Assist operations to ensure optimal service to guests and maintain proper storage procedures
- Minimize waste and maintain controls to attain forecasted food cost
- Assist in cooking and food presentation during service times
- Transport empty, dirty pots, and pans to pot wash station
- Direct and assist stewards to make clean-up efficient
- Breakdown workstation and complete closing duties including returning, rotating, wrapping, covering, labeling, and dating food items
- Clean up and organize storage areas, restock depleted items, and review work status with supervisors
- Help with mise en place, production, and cooking during service times
- Follow all safety and health regulations strictly
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Respect safety and health manners at all times
