Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of cold production experience
  • Valid Food Handler's Card
  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in cold kitchen environments
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow strict food safety standards
  • Ability to work in a high-volume kitchen
  • Ability to perform basic and intermediate knife skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in high-volume cold production
  • Experience in banquet/catering production preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced cold-temperature kitchen environment
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • Ability to perform all basic and intermediate knife skills
  • Working knowledge of cold food preparation techniques
  • Understanding of food safety standards and garde manger best practices
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Requires moderate supervision and training
  • Open schedule flexibility including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must have Food Handler's Card

Job Duties

  • Prepare cold food items including salads, dressings, appetizers, sandwiches, and cold sauces according to standardized recipes and plating guidelines
  • Maintain consistency, quality, and efficiency in food preparation and presentation
  • Communicate effectively with culinary team members to ensure seamless operation
  • Follow food safety standards and garde manger best practices rigorously
  • Operate in a fast-paced, cold-temperature kitchen environment with attention to detail
  • Assist with banquet and catering cold production as needed
  • Perform basic and intermediate knife skills proficiently
