Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or related hotel cooking experience
  • Two years of previous line cooking experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures
  • Ability to perform basic cooking skills proficiently
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under supervision while being self-motivated

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to hotel standards
  • Work single stations in the kitchen independently
  • Follow recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
  • Assist with food inventory and storage
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff
  • Participate in training and skill development sessions
