Job Requirements

- Previous experience in a kitchen management role
- Strong leadership abilities
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations

- Ability to work flexible hours

Job Duties
- Create and manage daily production and prep lists
- Coordinate and supervise set-up and food production areas
- Maintain stock levels at all cooking stations
- Ensure adherence to cooking procedures, recipes, and portions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dish, and storage areas
- Oversee inventory management and implement FIFO protocols
- Place orders and verify invoice accuracy
- Conduct product checks and apply necessary credits
- Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff
- Collaborate with management team
- Create staff schedules and manage labor costs
- Monitor staffing levels and provide feedback
- Maintain a positive and respectful kitchen environment
- Engage in food preparation
- Uphold service standards
- Facilitate clear communication
- Act as an Expeditor checking food quality and presentation
- Adhere to sanitary food handling practices
- Support cleaning and sanitation efforts
- Assess and maintain kitchen equipment and storage facilities
- Complete assigned side duties
- Plan and execute catering menus
- Monitor food costs and maintain budget compliance
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
