Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a culinary or food service management role
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
  • Proficiency in managing food costs and inventory
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Valid certifications in food handling as required by law

  • Experience in culinary operations management
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and control food costs

Job Duties

  • Directing and supervising food production and preparation, ensuring consistency with recipes
  • Collaborating with management to enforce employment policies and maintain cleanliness and safety
  • Monitoring productivity and managing food item ticket times
  • Evaluating and managing Back of House staff performance with coaching and evaluations
  • Guiding employee development and providing daily feedback
  • Conducting formal Taste and Temp checks for inventory and safety
  • Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of kitchen items
  • Implementing safe food handling procedures and training staff
  • Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor expenses
  • Assigning tasks and setting schedules for optimal workflow
  • Reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and recommending hires
  • Creating a safe, enjoyable, and clean work environment aligned with core values and goals
