Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three to five years of related culinary management experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills in English
- 21 plus years of age
- Possession or ability to obtain all required state work cards
- Proficiency with MS Office and POS systems
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Ability to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts preferred
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid driver’s license
- 21 plus years of age
- Possess or ability to possess state required work cards
- Minimum of three to five years of related experience
- Proficient in Windows MS Office, Open Table, Outlook
- Knowledge of profitability analysis and budgeting, cost of sales, payroll management, purchasing, receiving, inventories and cost controls
- Knowledge of state and local labor and health code laws
- Experience with POS and back office reporting systems
- Knowledge of proper lifting techniques
- Strong guest relations skills
- Understanding of sanitation and safety protocols
- Experience with safe alcohol service
- Experience in full service restaurant operations
- Effective and assertive communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Job Duties
- Perform daily line check and safety walk throughs
- Responsible for food budget and cost control of food and labor
- Investigate and review all sub-standard food with back of house team
- Review the suppliers and pricing every month
- Monitor food waste and find solutions to minimize food waste
- Work with Corporate Chef on menu development and engineering
- Keep the kitchen running smoothly and stocked with all necessary goods
- Create an environment of trust and mutual respect
- Responsible for complete life cycle of all team members including hiring, training, coaching, skill development and terminations
- Monitor and maintain highest standards of food and beverage quality, guest service, cost control, and consistency of service
- Manage staffing levels and controllable costs ensuring alignment with budget
- Complete nightly logs and manager reports
- Monitor and enforce inventory controls
- Ensure accurate and updated information regarding menu items and food allergen details
- Recognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business
- Respond to guest concerns and resolve complaints
- Comply with all safety, health department procedures, and liquor laws
- Maintain company safety and sanitation standards
- Ensure complete and proper checkout procedures
- Assist and complete additional tasks as assigned
