Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in culinary or food service management
- Knowledge of health safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to supervise and train staff

- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with kitchen work
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in culinary management preferably in senior living or healthcare settings
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent leadership and staff development skills
- Ability to manage inventory and control food costs effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with menu planning and adapting to dietary restrictions and preferences
- High school diploma or equivalent required associate or bachelor degree in culinary arts hospitality or nutrition preferred
Job Duties
- Supervise and train culinary and dietary staff ensuring adherence to community standards and state regulations
- Plan and manage daily meal preparation service quality and menu consistency
- Coordinate with the Executive Director and Health and Wellness Director to meet residents dietary needs and preferences
- Maintain inventory control manage food and supply orders and ensure cost-effective operations
- Monitor food safety sanitation and kitchen cleanliness to meet all regulatory requirements
- Engage with residents regularly to gather feedback and promote satisfaction with dining services
- Support budgeting scheduling and record-keeping for the culinary department
