Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Three or more years of food service management experience
  • Experience managing both front of house and back of house operations
  • Strong culinary knowledge with fine dining and retail menu skills
  • Willingness to travel 90% of the time throughout the Midwest
  • Availability to work variable hours including overnight and local travel
  • Valid driver's license

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Three or more years of food service management experience
  • Strong culinary knowledge
  • Ability to continuously update industry knowledge on current food trends and ingredients
  • Financial acumen and good computer literacy
  • Enthusiastic, confident, and warm with a positive approach and impeccable attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license

Job Duties

  • Direct and supervise kitchen as well as dining room operations and designated back of house and front of house staff
  • Ensure that the highest possible standards of food handling and preparation are achieved
  • Control and ensure the company's and client's financial targets are achieved
  • Engage with peers, colleagues and residents in a manner that invites interaction and feedback
