Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a lead culinary role with catering or high volume
  • ability to produce menu items in high volume consistently
  • experience in stadium catering preferred
  • ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
  • strong leadership qualities with focus on team development
  • comfortable commuting to Athens, GA
  • ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • adherence to uniform and safety requirements
  • reliable source of transportation
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a lead culinary role with experience in catering or high volume
  • experience in a stadium setting preferred
  • ability to produce menu items consistently and in high volume
  • leadership qualities with a focus on team development
  • ServSafe certified or available for training
  • attention to detail to ensure all ordered items are correct and follow company policies including health guidelines
  • excellent listening and communication skills
  • strong time management and organizational skills
  • strong customer service skills with a desire to exceed client needs
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • strong attention to detail and ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Assist in the oversight of day-to-day culinary operations for private events as scheduled
  • assist with coordinating food, kitchenware, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
  • assist with inventory and organization of storage areas and oversee checking in and putting away food orders
  • assist in the development of menu items and dietary requests
  • be an onsite supervisor during food service times
  • manage time effectively to ensure all BEO/menu items are completed prior to service times and according to recipe guidelines
  • manage the team scheduled in the kitchen or pantry areas
  • assist with on-the-job training of new employees
  • assist in post-event tasks including inputting payroll and inventory
  • support other locations in the region as needed
  • perform other related duties as needed
