Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or culinary roles
  • ability to lead and motivate a team
  • strong attention to detail
  • good organizational skills
  • availability to work varied shifts including early mornings and late evenings
  • commitment to maintaining food safety standards

  • Experience in a fast-paced culinary or food service environment
  • strong leadership and team development skills
  • knowledge of food safety and quality standards
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including opening and closing shifts
  • a passion for customer service and a positive attitude
  • basic understanding of food and beverage inventory management

Job Duties

  • Lead and develop the grill and prep teams and Special Ops trainers
  • be responsible for opening or closing the restaurant
  • learn basic food and beverage management including ordering and inventory organization
  • develop new leadership skills to lead the team
  • focus on self-improvement while supporting the success of others
  • find ways to say 'yes' to every guest to create CAVA fanatics
  • take ownership of every shift and take pride in your job
  • work with others to find success as a group
  • solve problems through an open-minded and all-inclusive approach
