Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend and reach overhead often
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures including hot and cold environments
- Comfortable working near open flames
- Ability to work in tight or confined spaces
- Must maintain near constant communication with team members
- Close, distance, and peripheral vision required
- Ability to sit, squat, and kneel occasionally
- Must work in a safe and alert manner
- Ability to work outdoors occasionally
Job Qualifications
- Proven track record of coaching and developing team members
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen or restaurant environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and quality standards
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to learn food and beverage inventory management
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to cross-train in multiple areas of restaurant operations
Job Duties
- Lead and develop the grill and prep teams and Special Ops trainers
- Be responsible for opening or closing the restaurant
- Learn basic food and beverage management including ordering and inventory organization
- Develop new leadership skills to lead the team
- Assist with any additional duties assigned
- Coach and develop team members
- Cross-train across the restaurant to ensure rapid growth
- Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Maintain communication with multiple people effectively
