Job Requirements
- Culinary Arts degree required
- Minimum 7 years active culinary experience including 3+ years in QSR and multi-unit service segment including managerial roles preferred
- At least 2 years supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to travel domestically up to 25%
- Capable of a 5-day in-person work week at Newport Beach and Irvine offices
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Job Qualifications
- Culinary Arts degree required
- 4-year bachelor’s degree preferred
- Over 7 years of active culinary experience including more than 3 years in quick-service restaurant and multi-unit service roles
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Proven track record in menu innovation and product R&D
- Strong project management and people leadership skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and teams effectively
- Passion for exceptional food and people
Job Duties
- Lead culinary initiatives and manage product innovation and R&D projects using the Stage Gate Process
- Manage and steward new product innovation projects at Chipotle Mexican Grill
- Partner with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure core menu and innovation ingredients meet the Chipotle Food with Integrity standards
- Oversee core menu optimization efforts in collaboration with cross-functional members
- Plan and execute consumer testing and product validation including in-store testing, focus groups, concept development, and market pilots
- Collaborate with culinary team and partners to deliver key growth strategies
- Present culinary concepts and project updates to diverse audiences and leadership
