Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 years experience
- High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate
- Servsafe certification
- Food handling certificate
- Ability to exert physical effort to transport up to 55 pounds
- Ability to endure various physical movements throughout the work areas
- Ability to reach 7 feet
- Maintain a stationary position for up to 8 hours throughout work shift
- Ability to maintain positive guest relations
- Ability to follow and comprehend recipes
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask effectively.

Job Duties
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards
- Use equipment only as intended and ensure proper maintenance
- Maintain positive coworker relations
- Be familiar with all hotel services, features, local attractions, and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
- Help resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
- Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation, health regulations and hotel requirements
- Meet with Sous Chef or the Chef to review assignments and business levels
- Complete opening duties including setup and inspection of workstation and tools
- Start prep work on items needed for service and inform supervisors of shortages
- Assist operations to ensure optimum guest service
- Maintain proper storage and minimize waste to attain forecasted food cost
- Assist in cooking and presentation during service
- Transport dirty pots and pans and assist with cleanup
- Breakdown workstation and complete closing duties including proper storage and cleaning
- Review work status with supervisors before leaving
- Perform ordering tasks for the position and assist with general ordering
- Write listings for mise en place
- Assist junior Commis and respect safety and health regulations at all times
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
