Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience operating aquaponic systems or related horticultural experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to daily delegated tasks
  • Ability to follow standardized tracking forms and instructions
  • Ability to independently perform daily prep and maintenance
  • Knowledge of watering and feeding regiments
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Capacity to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Understand and be able to operate NFT aquaponic systems
  • Understand and be able to multi task and adapt to given daily tasks delegated by Chef or Sous
  • Understand and be able to follow standardized written tracking forms by Chef or Sous
  • Understand and be able to independently execute daily prep for assigned station daily
  • Understand and be able to utilize required watering and feeding regiment
  • Understand and be able to work clean with organization throughout
  • Understand and be able to properly clean, maintain and organize
  • Able to work flexible shift to include weekends and holidays
  • Able to work outside in various weather conditions

Job Duties

  • Communicate with the Chef to learn daily work tasks and their coordination and complete daily maintenance
  • Perform work assignments to meet proper quantities within a necessary time frame
  • Be knowledgeable of all stations
  • Communicate with culinary team for proper pars, production and harvest requirements when needed in specified work stations
  • Work with aquaponic systems
  • Clean and take care of grounds, seedlings, plants, fruit trees, etc.
