  • Currently enrolled in a collegiate culinary program
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Train to prepare hot and cold food in assigned areas
  • Train to prepare food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as assigned
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area following safety guidelines
  • Assist chef with maintaining the kitchen and keeping staff on task
  • Prepare all menu items in assigned area daily including hot and cold food
  • Understand and adjust recipes according to business levels
  • Organize product, equipment, and necessary paperwork
  • Follow portion control, presentation, consistency, and flavor standards
  • Check coolers for proper food rotation to prevent spoilage
  • Maintain Serv Safe and health department standards
  • Complete mise en place and pars to set up the station
  • Work reliably and responsibly
  • Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate cohesively with team members
  • Focus attention on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous
  • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Take required breaks with prior supervisor notification
  • Perform other duties as assigned
