  • Currently enrolled in a collegiate culinary program
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Ability to occasionally lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in both inside and outside conditions at times
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Currently enrolled in a collegiate culinary program seeking to complete an externship/internship for degree requirements
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Trains to prepare hot and cold food as specified in areas working in
  • Trains to prepare food for breakfast, lunch, dinner as assigned
  • Trains to maintain a clean, organized and sanitary work area following safety guidelines
  • Trains to assist chef with maintaining the kitchen and keeping staff on task
  • Trains in preparation of all menu items in assigned area daily to include hot and cold food
  • Trains to be able to understand and adjust recipes according to business levels
  • Trains to understand organization of product, equipment, and necessary paperwork
  • Trains to precisely follow portion control, presentation of food, consistency of food, and flavor as determined by the culinary department
  • Trains to check coolers for proper rotation of food items to prevent spoilage
  • Must be able to maintain Serv Safe and health department standards
  • Trains to check and complete mise en place and pars to set-up the station
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteous
  • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Takes required breaks, notifying supervisor prior to leaving station
  • Other duties as assigned
