Job Requirements
- Food Protection Manager Certification issued by an ANAB-CFP accredited food sanitation program
- Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) issued by State of Minnesota for locations in the state of MN
- one to three years experience in a related field

- associate of applied science vocational/technical training or associate degree in food service (preferred)

Job Duties
- Plan and manage all aspects of dining services operations
- follow corporate menus
- manage inventory and food supplies budget
- assist with planning and developing menus for upcoming week
- prepare and/or oversee food preparation ensuring proper sanitation and food handling
- make substitutions and revisions to accommodate special dietary needs
- maintain storage area and inventories
- ensure kitchen and storage areas cleanliness and order
- place orders through online platform and process PO and invoicing
- properly cook foods to specified temperatures
- ensure products meet temperature and quality standards
- follow standardized recipes to ensure consistent quality and nutritional value
- weigh and measure ingredients per recipes
- use correct portioning utensils
- assemble food within specified time frames
- provide timely production and meal service
- prepare bakery items per standardized recipes
- accurately complete daily preparation tasks
- assist with special events
- prepare texturized diets using International Dysphagia Diet Standardization (IDDSI)
- sanitize equipment and work area after each use
- maintain clean work area
- clean and sanitize equipment per routine schedule
- use equipment and chemicals according to manufacturer's recommendations
- scrub pots/pans in 3-compartment sink area
- hire and supervise dining staff
- ensure new employees are properly trained and oriented
- provide ongoing performance feedback and address issues promptly
- conduct 90-day and annual performance reviews
- promote teamwork among employees
- ensure dining area is clean and inviting
- welcome residents and encourage socialization
- solicit resident feedback and respond to complaints
- accommodate resident requests such as substitute foods or seating changes
- work with residents and families for planning private gatherings
