Job Duties
- prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- help with catering events and special functions as needed
- maintain inventory of food supplies and equipment
- set up, stock, and break down assigned stations
- use knowledge of common allergies and dietary restrictions to ensure food safety for guests when noted on tickets
- avoid food waste by observing food storage time and temperature standards
- complete assigned cleaning tasks
- execute safe knife handling skills and safe use of all kitchen equipment
