Job Requirements

  • ServSafe and Allergen trained
  • Starbucks Barista trained preferred
  • Knowledge of food service laws, regulations and guidelines
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication skills with residents, physicians, visitors, and facility personnel
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to provide Bistro services

Job Duties

  • Greeting guests to the building and explaining the menu and ordering process
  • Meeting and talking with guests daily to take meal orders
  • Acquiring resident and guest preferences and collaborating with RDN or Executive Chef on nutrition management
  • Printing meal production sheets and meal tickets for each meal
  • Updating the daily menu for dining rooms
  • Assisting with serving meals and snacks following portion control and sanitary regulations
  • Preparing and serving food that is palatable and appetizing in appearance
