Job Duties
- prepare and/or direct the preparation, seasoning, and cooking of all salads, soups, fish, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foods
- ensure all meals are nutritionally balanced and attractively served
- maintain awareness of special diets, seasoning requirements, cooking times, and temperature controls
- manage kitchen operations to meet exemplary restaurant-quality food standards
- collaborate with care staff to tailor meals for resident needs
- maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
- monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
