Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours, with frequent bending and squatting
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds regularly throughout shift
  • Ability to read and follow recipes
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in culinary or food service preferred

Job Duties

  • Set up buffet line, cook all items on daily menu and do quality check of all items, hot and cold
  • Maintain a clean Cafe area for all associates to enjoy, including stocking and cleaning plate ware and silver ware
  • Organize and inventory all items in cooler, walk-in freezer, reach-ins, and cages
  • Put away and organize daily incoming truck orders
  • Assist in keeping par levels by communicating to the Chef when to order stock items
  • Maintain professional relations with all associates, treating with respect and holding accountable to Kitchen and Hotel standards
  • Demonstrate open communication between kitchen and other hotel outlets, including front of house, banquet team, and front office
