Job Requirements
- One year of culinary experience
- Able to read and write English
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand and lift up to 25 pounds
- Adherence to food safety and infection control guidelines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality under HIPAA and PCI regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of culinary experience
- University of Missouri Food Handler's Certificate within one month preferred
- Ability to read and write English
- Additional licenses or certifications as required
- Experience in healthcare food service preferred
Job Duties
- Work with medical staff and ancillary staff to ensure customer satisfaction
- Use proper scripting while interacting with patients, family, and guests
- Maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA and PCI requirements
- Prepare hot and cold foods, grill cook, production cooking, catering, baking, and room service production
- Maintain food safety standards and prevent cross contamination
- Clean and sanitize work areas and kitchen equipment
- Assist with cashiering, physician dining room, catering, and tray assembly as needed
- Follow infection control and PPE guidelines
- Keep work area inspection-ready and address deficiencies promptly
