Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
- ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods
- willingness to adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines

- compliance with attendance and call-off policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food service or culinary assistance is an asset
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- compassionate and patient attitude toward older adults
- basic food preparation knowledge
Job Duties
- Assists when needed in preparation of food according to the established menu
- follows departmental procedures including sanitation, safety, and cleaning schedules
- follows proper cleaning procedures when washing and storing all dishes
- serves and assists residents in the dining room at breakfast, lunch, and dinner on a daily basis
- cleans kitchen, food service equipment, and food storage areas daily
- maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for all residents
- performs daily general cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining room according to established cleaning schedules
