Job Requirements
- At least age 16
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months of experience in sanitation work in healthcare or food preparation facility preferred
- Prep/Cook Level Food Handler Permit required
- Must meet vaccination requirements
- Ability to gain access to work area and safely perform job duties
- Vision and hearing within normal limits with or without correction
- Unrestricted lift/push/pull ability of 32 pounds demonstrating strength and agility at Tabitha's discretion
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months of experience in sanitation or food preparation in healthcare or similar facility preferred
- Prep/Cook Level Food Handler Permit required
- Must meet vaccination requirements
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English including medical terminology relevant to the job
Job Duties
- Assist with serving meals following diet orders and prepare food to order in dining room as requested by senior/client
- Operate dish machine to ensure dishes and silverware are cleaned and sanitized, dried and put away in a timely manner
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation related to food production, quality, and food safety
- Ensure food and products are properly acquired, stored, dated and rotated
- Follow recipes according to appropriate safe food handling procedures, using food service equipment
- Handle trash and sweep and mop galley kitchen floor
- Procure food from storage areas, freezers, and refrigerators
- Provide outstanding customer service during guest interactions
