Job Requirements
- At least age 16
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months of experience in sanitation or food preparation preferred
- Prep/Cook Level Food Handler Permit required
- Ability to communicate in English including medical terminology
- Physical ability to lift/push/pull 32 pounds safely
- Compliance with vaccination requirements
- Ability to perform duties safely within work area
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months of experience in sanitation work in healthcare or food preparation facility preferred
- Prep/Cook Level Food Handler Permit required for Eventide campuses in Lancaster County
- Ability to communicate effectively in English including medical terminology
- Able to safely lift, push, and pull up to 32 pounds
- Must meet Eventide's vaccination requirements
Job Duties
- Assist with serving meals following diet orders and prepare food to order as requested by senior/client
- Operate dish machine to ensure dishes and silverware are cleaned, sanitized, dried, and put away timely
- Document food production, quality, and safety accurately and timely
- Ensure food and products are properly acquired, stored, dated, and rotated
- Follow recipes and safe food handling procedures using food service equipment
- Handle trash and sweep and mop galley kitchen floor
- Procure food from storage areas, freezers, and refrigerators
- Provide outstanding customer service during guest interactions
