Job Requirements
- minimum one year of experience as culinary manager
- certification in a dietary manager course or associate’s degree in culinary or hospitality management
- must have current and valid ServSafe Manager’s Food Safety Certificate
- demonstrate C.A.R.E. values including compassion, accountability, relationships and excellence
- ability to lead and motivate kitchen staff
- excellent communication and organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- proven leadership experience in kitchen management
- experience in hiring, training, evaluating and scheduling staff
- certification in dietary manager course or associate’s degree in culinary or hospitality management

- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to create a positive team environment
Job Duties
- lead and motivate kitchen staff to ensure food safety, health, sanitation and proper food preparation
- work collaboratively towards excellent care and food service for residents
- hire, train, evaluate and schedule kitchen personnel
- create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents
- oversee all kitchen operations ensuring quality food preparation and presentation
- maintain adherence to safety and sanitation standards
- support and embody C.A.R.E. values in all interactions
