Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly service to a diverse clientele
- Perform start up duties by turning on cooking equipment and setting to proper temperatures
- Prepare foods and ingredients by laying out, cutting, cubing, and slicing according to specifications
- Follow directions from the lead cook for meal production requirements
- Thoroughly wash and sanitize produce
- Label and store food with product name, date, and use-by date in proper refrigeration
- Ensure food safety standards and HACCP requirements are met
- Prepare grilled, deli, salad bar, and catering items according to recipes and customer specifications
- Manage inventory and prioritize multiple tasks
- Maintain clean, sanitized work area according to ServSafe standards
- Assist in other operational areas as needed
- Prepare hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, and pizzas neatly and timely
- Understand and memorize menu items
- Use grill equipment to full capacity handling multiple orders while maintaining quality
