Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in high volume food establishment preferred
  • Serv-safe certification preferred
  • food allergen knowledge/certification preferred
  • valid PA driver’s license preferred

Job Duties

  • Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly service to a diverse clientele
  • Perform start up duties by turning on cooking equipment and setting to proper temperatures
  • Prepare foods and ingredients by laying out, cutting, cubing, and slicing according to specifications
  • Follow directions from the lead cook for meal production requirements
  • Thoroughly wash and sanitize produce
  • Label and store food with product name, date, and use-by date in proper refrigeration
  • Ensure food safety standards and HACCP requirements are met
  • Prepare grilled, deli, salad bar, and catering items according to recipes and customer specifications
  • Manage inventory and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Maintain clean, sanitized work area according to ServSafe standards
  • Assist in other operational areas as needed
  • Prepare hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, and pizzas neatly and timely
  • Understand and memorize menu items
  • Use grill equipment to full capacity handling multiple orders while maintaining quality
