Job Requirements
- must be able to pass federal and state background checks
- valid food handlers and/or food managers certification
- experience as a chef, culinary instructor, or related culinary role
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to teach and communicate effectively with adults and children

- proven experience as a chef, culinary instructor, or in a related culinary role
- experience in both professional kitchens and teaching environments is highly valued
- excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly explain complex concepts
Job Duties
- assist in setting up the kitchen and preparing ingredients and equipment for cooking classes before class begins
- aid the instructor during classes by providing hands-on support and guidance to participants
- foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged and motivated
- ensure that all safety procedures and protocols are followed in the kitchen environment
- demonstrate cooking techniques and procedures as directed by the instructor
