Job Requirements

  • Formal culinary training
  • Experience at the Cook II level or comparable experience as a Cook I
  • Knowledge of diverse baking techniques
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision during specialty events
  • Strong mentorship and communication skills
  • Ability to manage food requisitions and budgets
  • Availability to lead kitchen operations in chef’s absence

Job Qualifications

  • Formal culinary training, particularly in pastry and baking
  • At least one year of experience at the Cook II level or comparable experience as a Cook I
  • Expertise in diverse baking techniques, including dough preparation, pastry shaping, and decorative skills
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain high-quality presentation of pastries and desserts

Job Duties

  • Work across various kitchen positions, including pantry and banquet roles as needed
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow team members during daily prep and technique training
  • Assist the chef with specialty dinners and events, showcasing skills with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate with the chef to develop unique daily features and special menus, aligning with the outlet’s culinary theme
  • Support food requisitions and ordering, collaborating with the chef on budget management
  • Lead kitchen services in the chef’s absence, ensuring smooth operations
