Job Requirements
- Associate's degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent
- five years occupational experience as sous chef or higher within last ten years
- current ServSafe Certification
- demonstrated teaching competency
- willingness to adopt new technologies
- excellent communication skills
- supervisory experience in food service settings
- commitment to diversity and inclusion

- knowledge of HACCP principles
- preferred ACF Certified Culinary Educator credential and/or community college teaching experience
Job Duties
- Teach culinary and pastry arts courses effectively
- incorporate instructional technologies into teaching
- develop curriculum covering savory food preparation, artistic presentation, and advanced baking techniques
- integrate nutrition, food safety, and cost control into lessons
- manage classroom environments supporting diversity and inclusion
- maintain HACCP and environmental hygiene standards instruction
- provide mentorship and support for diverse student populations
