- Provide PA State Police Clearance
- provide PA Child Abuse Clearance
- submit FBI Fingerprint prior to first day of employment
- possess comprehensive knowledge of working in a kitchen
- have experience with recipe creation
- have enthusiasm for teaching culinary arts
- ability to work part-time and temporary schedule
Job Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of kitchen operations and recipe creation
- experience in teaching culinary or baking skills
- passion for educating others about cooking, baking, food science, or nutrition
- ability to engage diverse age groups including youth and adults
- no formal degree required
Job Duties
- Teach basic cooking and baking skills to youth ages 10-17
- instruct basic cooking techniques and methods for adults
- provide instruction on specific or various global cuisines
- conduct advanced cake decorating and pastry techniques classes
- teach spirits, cocktails, and mixology
- offer wine and food pairing education
- educate on cooking for special diets
- deliver lessons on food science and nutrition
- organize culinary team-building activities for businesses
- participate in school or community events with demonstrations and food conversations
- serve as bilingual ServSafe instructor in English and Spanish if applicable
