Job Requirements
- Food safety certification required
- Certification from a recognized culinary school
- Experience recognized in cooking, including restaurant cook or kitchen helper experience
- Excellent understanding of varied cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in performing assigned tasks
- Familiarity with industry best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Physical ability to perform tasks related to the position
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare, precook and/or cook food products according to directives
- Prepare mise en place including foods, garnishes, sauces, plates, utensils, etc. for high-volume production
- Clean kitchen equipment after use according to health and safety policies and procedures
- Label, date, store and rotate food and beverages in proper storage areas
- Communicate effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Report maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately to supervisor
- Perform other assigned or delegated tasks
