The City of Burlington's Church Street Marketplace department manages the vibrant Church Street Marketplace District, known for its dynamic blend of retail shops, dining venues, entertainment, and public events. - outdoor maintenance and general construction/trades experience preferred

Job Duties
- Perform salting and snow removal during storms or urgent weather events
- provide trash removal needs during high-impact periods including emptying and cleaning trash containers
- prepare trash for removal by outside garbage contractors
- assist with graffiti removal and report or address vandalism as directed
- assure marketplace security by reporting unusual events to supervisor
- perform tasks associated with set-up, breakdown, and operation of special events
- clean and unplug catch basin drains as needed
- ensure garden beds are kept clean and neat by removing debris and performing basic pruning and branch removal
- interact favorably with the general public and all Marketplace users at all times
