Job Requirements

  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program
  • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student
  • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
  • Willingness to serve in a multicultural setting

Job Duties

  • Coordinate monthly community events such as Hispanic Heritage Month, Church Anniversary, Fall Fiesta, Community Christmas Meal and Tamalada, and additional events from January to June
  • Support the Stories of Hope program by helping organize meals, hospitality, and healing-centered environments for immigrant families
  • Assist in the growth of outreach ministries including volunteer coordination, setup, and participant engagement
  • Offer hospitality and welcome to guests and new families during worship and events, helping them connect to church life
  • Follow up with visitors through phone calls, texts, or welcome notes under pastoral supervision
  • Ensure that Sunday programming for Spanish-speaking children and youth is prepared and supported including materials, sign-ins, and transitions
  • Prepare supply lists, coordinate logistics, and assist with documentation such as photos, reports, and feedback
