Job Requirements
- Have a GED or high school diploma
- Be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Qualify for a U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC)
- Obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien
- Pass a physical exam and drug screening
- Maintain a clear background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in hospitality or related roles preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to comply with maritime safety and regulatory standards
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status
Job Duties
- Prepare and assist in meal preparation as an assistant cook
- Provide attentive service to guests as an assistant waiter
- Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, and folding linens and uniforms
- Clean and maintain staterooms to hotel housekeeping standards
- Carry out janitorial duties in the galley and hotel areas
- Serve guests with professionalism as a waiter
- Adhere to shipboard safety and hygiene regulations
