Job Requirements
- High school degree or equivalency required
- minimum two years of disc jockey experience
- must have proven experience as a DJ in hospitality or entertainment settings
- proficiency in using DJ equipment and software
- strong knowledge of different music genres
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to entertain and engage guests
- flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays
- knowledge of safety protocols for audiovisual equipment

Job Duties
- Curate and create playlists suitable for different times of the dining cruise including boarding dining and special events
- stay updated with current music trends and maintain a diverse and appealing music selection
- engage with passengers and encourage participation in on-board activities
- set up and operate DJ equipment including sound systems turntables and lighting
- ensure all equipment is properly maintained and report any issues to the cruise staff
- work closely with restaurant managers and other staff to coordinate music with scheduled events and activities
- collaborate with event planners to create themed experiences on special cruise occasions
- be flexible in adapting music selections to suit the changing dynamics of the cruise accommodating different demographics and preferences
