Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • at least 18 years of age
  • nine months of prior airline or aviation experience preferred
  • legally authorized to work in the United States with no travel restrictions
  • valid driver's license with good driving record
  • fluent in English
  • basic Microsoft Office proficiency
  • able to type 30 words per minute
  • pass pre-employment and random drug screening
  • pass TSA background and criminal history checks
  • able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • comply with all safety and regulatory requirements
  • physically able to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • must be able to ascend/descend stairs frequently

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • a minimum of 9 months of airline or aviation industry experience preferred
  • legally authorized to work in the United States without travel restrictions
  • valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • fluent in English with proficiency in Spanish a plus
  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Office 365, Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • ability to type at least 30 words per minute

  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • pass DOT drug screening and FAA random drug and alcohol testing
  • pass TSA-required background, criminal history, and fingerprint checks
  • can work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist customers in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner
  • provide check-in assistance, handle ticketing changes, and process special service requests
  • check and accept passenger baggage ensuring compliance with airline policies
  • board and deplane flights assisting passengers including unaccompanied minors and those with special needs
  • provide accurate and timely gate information and respond to inquiries
  • maintain knowledge of policies related to unaccompanied minors, law enforcement officers, and hazardous materials
  • communicate effectively with passengers, coworkers, flight crews, and vendors
  • maintain safety and security of ramp areas adhering to all safety procedures and policies
  • marshal aircraft on the ramp and assist with parking
  • conduct ground service equipment checks and report issues
  • perform duties of Ground Security Coordinator in compliance with company security programs
  • handle baggage and company materials with care including frequent lifting and loading
  • service aircraft including lavatory servicing, potable water refills, de-icing, and stocking
  • assist with ramp set-up and proper storage of equipment and baggage
  • perform additional duties as assigned by management
