Job Requirements

  • IDPH/NREMT certification required
  • Must have critical care license required
  • Must have paramedic license required
  • Illinois driver’s license in good standing
  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent
  • Fit for duty (push/pull/lift/squat/stand/sit)
  • Must pass pre-employment physical

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • IDPH/NREMT certification
  • Critical care license
  • Paramedic license
  • Illinois driver’s license in good standing
  • CPR certification preferred
  • Previous experience in ambulance or emergency medical services preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide standard EMT/Paramedic skills to care for patients
  • Maintain communication effectively and efficiently with co-workers and dispatch
  • Clear and professional interactions and communication with hospital and nursing staff
  • Deliver compassionate care to patients and their families
  • Maintain a professional appearance and behavior
