Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least two years server experience in an upscale restaurant
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- Possess or willingness to attend Responsible Vendor’s class and pass the test
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and push 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk 100% of the time
- Must be able to use a computer for order and payment processing
- Available to work part-time flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Well-groomed with good personal hygiene
- Effective communication skills in English
Job Qualifications
- Effectively interact and communicate in English with diverse backgrounds
- Read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondences
- Write simple English correspondence
- Present information effectively in one-on-one and small groups
- Add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
- Compute rate, ratio and percent
- Apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions
- Deal with problems involving concrete variables
- Demonstrate computer skills including knowledge of Micros
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- Possess or be willing to obtain Responsible Vendor’s Permit or equivalent

Job Duties
- Serve 3 to 4 tables including taking and delivering food and beverage orders
- Offer suggestions and recommendations on wine and food pairings
- Maintain specific side-work and ensure cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
- Clear and reset tables promptly
- Treat all guests to ensure complete satisfaction
- Strive to exceed guests’ expectations
- Report to work in a clean uniform and maintain good grooming
- Demonstrate complete knowledge of food and beverage preparation and cash handling
- Maintain a positive attitude and handle stressful situations professionally
- Exhibit leadership skills and respect for guests and associates
- Be mindful of time away from station
- Perform other duties as assigned
