This job opportunity is with a McDonald’s restaurant that is independently owned and operated by a franchisee, separate from McDonald’s USA. This franchisee has licensed the McDonald’s brand, logos, and food products to run the restaurant. Importantly, the franchisee is the direct employer and is responsible for all employment-related decisions including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.
