Unlike corporate McDonald’s USA, this franchisee operates as a separate company and is responsible for all employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. As such, those hired will be employees of the franchisee company, not McDonald’s USA, and employment decisions are made solely by the franchisee without involvement from McDonald’s USA.
