This job opportunity is with a McDonald's restaurant that is owned and operated by an independent franchisee. Unlike McDonald's USA, the franchisee is a separate company responsible for all employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, and scheduling. McDonald's USA licenses the use of its logos and products to the franchisee but does not participate in staffing or employment decisions.
