This position is with a restaurant that is owned and operated by an independent franchisee affiliated with McDonald's. While this franchisee has a license to use McDonald’s logos, trademarks, and food products, it operates as a completely separate company and employer from McDonald's USA. Consequently, all employment decisions—including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling—are managed exclusively by the franchisee, not McDonald's corporate entity. This ensures that the franchisee retains full control over all employment matters within its restaurant location, making it the sole employer responsible for hiring and other employee-related processes.
