The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald's iconic logos and food products while managing their restaurant independently. As such, while you will be working at a McDonald's-branded establishment, your employer will be the franchisee, not McDonald's USA. This means that all employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling, are handled exclusively by the franchisee.
