This job opportunity is with an independent franchisee-owned McDonald's restaurant, not directly with McDonald's USA. The franchisee operates under a license to use McDonald's logos and food products but functions as a completely separate entity with its own employment policies, including hiring, firing, scheduling, and discipline.
